FROM TULCHA TO SULINA - THE DELTA AND THE DANUBE ESTATE

The Danube Delta is the largest delta in Europe. It is located on the territory of Northern Dobrudja in Romania. From 1991 Mr. is part of the UNESCO world natural heritage. A biosphere reserve of world importance with an area of 4152 sq. km., the place with the richest diversity of bird species in the world (over 300 the species), a crossroads for migratory birds from three continents, moving along five air corridors. Place, where endangered and rare species can be seen, and also above 45 species of freshwater fish in numerous lakes and marshes. The delta is extremely rich in vegetation – over 50 types of trees and shrubs, wrapped in vines, hops and rosehip. Falcons nest here, sea ​​eagles, Drozdov and Slavey, foxes are encountered, wild cats, rabbits, raccoons, lynxes and even boars and wolves, and in the water otters, mink.
First day:
– Departure 6.00 h., Varna
– Visit to the old Bulgarian monasteries around Tulcea and Nikulitzel - Chelik Dere, Hen, Saon.
– Tulcha - accommodation in a three-star hotel
– A walk in the center of Tulcha - the Bulgarian church of St. George
Second day:
– 8.00 - a trip with boats on the Danube Delta - Mila 23, the mouth of the Danube at the Gr. Sulina/duration 10 o'clock/
In Mila 23:
– lunch in a country house, traditional local cuisine, Danube fish.
In Sulina:
– Walking around the city
– Optionally Sulina's cemeteries – one palette of ethnicities,nations, Religious denominations each with its culture of the deceived.
